Hello, we are your Junior Road Safety Officers.

Our job is to tell you about how to keep safe when you’re travelling to and from school.  We will be promoting road safety and looking at ways to make the journey safe, healthy and enjoyable for everyone.

Please keep an eye on the school’s website for information and updates from us.

We would like to remind you that it is important to be aware of your surroundings and that following basic road safety is essential.

  •   Always find a safe place to cross where you can see the traffic and they can see you.
  •   Pay attention to traffic when you are at the side of the road.
  •   Make sure all traffic has stopped when you are using a pedestrian crossing.

Road Safety Week - 12th March - 16th March 2018

During Road Safety Week in school, the children learned all about how to keep themselves safe whilst out cycling. They also learned about the health benefits associated with cycling and walking to school.

On Tuesday 13th March, it was great to see so many children cycling and scooting to school to take part in the Bikers' Breakfast. The children got to enjoy a healthy breakfast with their friends. To end the week, the children looked fantastic in their bright mufti clothes on Friday, helping us to reinforce the message of 'Be Safe, Be Seen'. Thank you to the Road Safety Officers for helping organise the different activities during the week and to the PTA for funding the Bikers' Breakfast.
