Eco-Friendly Year 2

20th June 2019
In Year 2 we have been thinking about reducing our plastic waste. On our recent trip to Cliveden, we trialed an eco-friendly challenge with the parents and children from Caterpillars class.
We attempted to be the first trip at The Stoke Poges School with a ‘plastic free’ packed lunch! The parents provided the children with a backpack to carry on the day, if the children did not have a backpack they carried their school PE bag. We also took a refillable water bottle, which the children then carried back home in their backpacks. On the day of the trip, we had almost zero waste! Well done, Caterpillars!
