The Stoke Poges School PTA is a friendly group of parents and teachers who work together to put on events throughout the year in order to fundraise for the school.
From discos to fireworks nights, Christmas Bazaars and even a circus, the team work hard to organise events that can be enjoyed by pupils and parents alike, and that will raise vital funds to enhance our children's time at the school. We all work towards one common aim - to provide the best facilities, equipment and environment possible for our children while they are at The Stoke Poges School.
Help, donations and services are always gratefully received. We know people may not have the time to attend meetings or all events, but help with planning, sourcing donations and equipment, or even a half hour wrapping up gifts for one of our popular sales, is always greatly appreciated.
Last year the PTA raised more than £16k for the school. In the past two years we have been able to buy a new minibus for the school, donate more than £10,000 towards a new playground, and invest in essential computing and maths equipment. Our target this year? To raise even more and donate enough for a new play surface in the Reception garden as well as science tools, topic books, classroom furniture and special events.
