Admissions to Foundation Stage (Reception)

In the few months before they begin school, parents are invited to meet the Headteacher and the Foundation Stage staff. Every effort is made to have children in school for an informal session before they officially start.

Children are admitted full time in September unless parents feel that their child is not ready for this. By law, children must start at the commencement of the term following that in which they have their fifth birthday.

We are always pleased to show prospective pupils and parents around our school. Please ring the school office on 01753 643319 to make an appointment.

Places are allocated using criteria, which include residence in the school's catchment area, distance from school and whether or not the child already has a sibling attending the school.

The deadline for Reception Admission September 2020 - August 2021 for children born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016 and Year Three Admission September 2020 - August 2021 for children born between September 2012 and August 2013 is 15th January 2020.
