Alternative Sports

Years 5 & 6 were invited to a Parcour taster session at Beaconsfield Secondary School this week. Ten lucky athletes had the opportunity to participate in vaults, leaps, somersaults and floor gymnastics which was led by the Beaconsfield students. The students had had a lot of fun and learnt a lot of new acrobatic skills.
The girls and boys Stoke Poges football team both had a great start to the year and both teams were so successful they beat the competition to compete at the county finals. Both teams narrowly missed out on the winning position.
Students in years 3,4,5 & 6 attended an alternative sports festival this term. They participated in a variety of activities such as Boccia, goal ball, sitting volleyball, hockey and athletics.
